When I was just a boy, I was so off with the fairies - it's an expression meaning that I was always off in a world of my imaging. I was always thinking about storybooks that I'd read, usually with dragons and soldiers and knights and tanks and laser beams and that kind of thing. And that was more interesting to me than the real world around me, I guess. I was always that boy who would collect, I would collect and study, all the different toys fro the things that I loved.
